I have been trying to find a good vet for YEARS, this place takes the cake. I have bounced around all throughout Rio Rancho, Albuquerque, and even Los Lunas, around 7 vets total throughout the past two years trying to find a good place for my babies to go. Not only was my experience at other vets ‘average’, my babies and I were always left with bad experiences one way or another. I have many many pets, and am very picky with their care, I can’t tell you how relieved I was to finally have found this place. I worked with Dr Stephanie when I came in last week and the entire experience was so lovely. The lobby is set up nicely and really clean, not to mention EVERY SINGLE staff member was amazing and so sweet, I can’t tell you how many places fail just off of one rude person. I appreciated how much care and compassion was given during the exam and the next steps provided for what was needed. I left feeling a weight off of my shoulders knowing I finally found a place to get all my babies seen. I made another 2 apts for next week and look forward to coming here with every single one of my babies. I honestly can’t believe this place isn’t more popular, but I’ll count myself lucky I am already established in case they start becoming overbooked. I’m very thankful for this place.

My dog, Sam, and I had a great experience at Acequia Animal Hospital. I took Sam in for his very first appointment to meet the vet and to have an overall wellness check up. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the office and exam room. The professionalism and care that the staff exemplified was refreshing and appreciated. I am so pleased that I found this business in my community of Rio Rancho.

Friendly and great team and Doctors on staff. Highly recommended because on each visit my questions we're fully answered, treatment reviewed and the time taken made my fur pups visit a peasant experience. Again, highly recommended and appreciated.

In July our little dog passed away and the team @ Acequia Animal Hospital were all very kind & even took care of the cremation service so we wouldn't have to. They even sent us a sympathy card which meant a lot to us Dr Jamie P has been the vet who has seen all 3 of our dogs @ different stages of life. She is so knowledgeable and caring. Thank you Dr. P and all the staff.

New Vet for me and our dog Sophie. First visit report: waited a bit long for appointment, but that's OK, thought Sophie's annual visit was a bit superficial but we have another appointment for blood work and shots. Received a quote for teeth cleaning that I thought was a bit high. Good people, nice facilities, felt comfortable, Sophie liked it and the staff, felt the staff and Vet were engaged and capable.
