Hospital Policies

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex, CareCredit, cash, and personal checks (with personal checks, we do require photo ID).

If you would like to apply for CareCredit, please feel free to call the clinic during our regular business hours. It only takes a few minutes to sign up.

COVID-19 Policy

Thank you for your continued trust in us as we navigate these difficult times. Here at Sequist Animal Hospital, we take steps to help minimize the risk of exposure to Covid-19 for our staff members and clients.

For supply refills/pick-ups, we still require 24 hours’ notice. Once a team member has confirmed your items are ready, they will be available for pick up in our front entrance foyer during business hours.

If you, or anyone in the house with your pet, are experiencing respiratory illness, or have tested positive for Covid-19 we will need to reschedule your pet’s appointment.

We are practicing safe social distancing while interacting and are adamantly cleaning our exam rooms after each pet. We ask that you limit the number of people entering the building for appointments to only one or two people. Safety is our number one priority during this time.

If you are not fully vaccinated, we are still asking that you wear a mask upon entering our building.

We appreciate your patience and kindness as we navigate through these trying times. Your support through the past year and a half has been appreciated like none other. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
